These Terms of Use apply to Makla AI, including the iOS app and the Makla AI website.

Service

Makla AI helps users estimate calories, protein, carbohydrates, and fat from meal photos. Results are estimates and may be inaccurate. Makla AI is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Subscriptions

Makla AI may offer auto-renewable subscriptions. The subscription title, length, and price are shown before purchase. App Store subscriptions are billed through Apple and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Website subscriptions are billed through Stripe and unlock access in the app for the purchasing email.

Cancellation

App Store subscriptions can be managed or cancelled in the user's Apple account settings. Website subscriptions can be managed through the billing link provided after purchase or by contacting support.

Device access

Website purchases may be linked to one phone using the purchase email and a hashed device identifier. This is used to prevent sharing a single subscription across multiple devices.

User responsibilities

Users are responsible for reviewing estimates and deciding how to use them. Users should not rely on Makla AI for medical, dietary, or health decisions without consulting a qualified professional.
